Fleet/Vessel Monitoring & Onboard Control—Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet Benicia, CA

suisunWe have completed the first year of a four-year project to remotely monitor fire, flood, humidity, and Cathodic protection viability on U.S. Dept. of Transportation Maritime Administration fleet of reserve vessels. Initial requirements included design and installation of a Base Station and radio-based monitoring system for 13 vessels. Data is displayed locally and accessible via MARAD Intranet interface. Multiple Canal Control—Packwood Canal Co., Ellensburg, WA

packwoodDesigned and installed SCADA control system retrofit at the forebay of the Packwood irrigation canal. System required automating two new gates to control forebay level, fish-flow bypass and canal flow control, installing a radio-linked Base Station, and HMI software with Internet interface, auto reporting flow data to State agencies, and remote monitoring. Completed July 2009







Multiple Canal Control—Bull Canal Co., Ellensburg, WA

packardDesigned and installed telephone-based SCADA control system retrofit at two diversion locations, Yakima River and Wilson Creek, that combine at the forebay to Bull Canal. System controls forebay level and canal flow at both stations. Installed Base Station and HMI software with Internet interface, auto reporting flow data to State agencies, and remote monitoring. Completed July 2009.

Diversion Fish-Bypass, Canal Control & Water Consevation Control— Peshastin Irrigation District, Cashmere WA

peshDesigned and installed radio-based SCADA control system for 14 mile canal that maintains fish bypass at creek diversion, canal flow, canal level for freeboard control, and eliminates spill at three gates along the canal. Five gates automated, two retrofits, three new with two being Split-Gates to control canal level and provide canal dump for maintenance and emergency situations. Installed new Base Station and HMI software with Internet interface, auto reporting to State agencies, and remote monitoring. Completed September 2009.

Single station flow multiple pump monitoring/data logging for an intake to a pressurized pipeline irrigation system. Standard WT-RUG3 install. Logged data displayed locally, manually downloaded.

Automated control of multiple intake gates and multiple canal headgates for diversion adjustments, canal forebay level maintenance, canal discharge volume (cfs), and downstream canal level for an intake to an irrigation canal system. Master telemetry station and three remotes sites. Master Station PC HMI is a web-server. RF enabled, Internet SCADA enabled (web control, database access, setpoint management, alarm acknowledgement).
